There will be downtime sometime in the future expected to last a few days (some servers will come online quicker than others) to change the Operating System on all RKS servers to the latest one to improve stability and performance.

Daedalus - Windows 2008 Std x64 to Windows 2008 R2 Web x64
Odyssey - Windows 2008 Web x64 to Windows 2008 R2 Std x64
Prometheus - Windows 2008 Web x64 to Windows 2008 R2 Web x64
This will also save up to 30 dollars in monthly server costs.
As of now, time and date of the upgrade is not set. However, when the upgrades do happen, not only will the servers be offline while the OS is reloaded, but I will also need time after that's done to set up the servers and to reinstall all the services that were running on those servers. That is expected to last some time as RKS's infrastructure is pretty extensive.
I expect that the important game servers will be online within a few hours of the server being reimaged with the new OS. Some less important servers may take more time.
I will announce when I have further details.
